We are looking for:
Direct Furniture is looking for a Furniture Delivery Removalist that will to join our team. Weekly Hours Casual Rate Up to 38 Hours, Pay Rate between $25 to $35 per hour for the right candidate.
You will be directly reporting to and working under instructions of the General Manager and 2IC (Shop Manager)
· Someone with previous warehouse experience/removalist experience (minimum 1 year in the bedding/furniture industry).
· Experience with stock and inventory handling
· Someone with good verbal communication skills and decency in English fluency. A positive, friendly and can-do attitude
· Someone who is physically fit who can perform manual handling and lifting tasks. Previous experience with manual trolleys is preferred
· High attention to detail to ensure all goods loaded onto our trucks are correct and are delivered in a safe manner into customer's house
· Following client and freight procedural steps for each individual delivery.
Example of Daily Tasks:
· Rearranging stock of warehouse
· Perform and unpacking quality checks of products
· Rubbish disposal packaging
· Assembly of sofa/beds/cabinets
· Configuration of warehouse and showroom
· Unloading of furniture containers
· Assisting customers when stock is picked up
· Loading & Preparation for Delivery Truck
· Contacting customers (Text & Call)
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Welshpool WA 6106: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Truck driving: 1 year (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (Required)
