Full-Time Carpenter Wanted – Join Fast’s Solutions

Fast’s Solutions is a growing renovation and construction company based in Perth, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the region.

We specialise in:

Bathroom renovations
Flooring installation
Carpentry and fit-out works
Wall framing and partitions
Door and window installations
Decking and outdoor structures
Roofing and general maintenance carpentry
Custom timber and finishing works

At Fast’s Solutions, we focus on quality workmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team full-time.

Position: Carpenter (ANZSCO 331212)

Carpenters construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, lightweight steel, wallboard and other materials.

Skill Level: 3

Specialisations:

structural framing, roof-related carpentry
Interior fit-outs
Concrete formwork
Custom timber installations
Renovation works, and detailed finishing tasks for residential and commercial projects

Key Responsibilities:

Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
Ordering and selecting timber and materials, and preparing layouts
Cutting materials and assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts
Erecting framework, panelised systems and roof framing
Laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures
Installing fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior wall cladding, door and window frames
Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation
Cutting wood joints
Constructing concrete formwork when required
Repairing existing fittings and structures
Working with plastic laminates, Perspex and metals where required

Requirements:

Relevant qualification or proven carpentry experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
White Card and valid driver’s licence preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and safety focused
