Midvale Barber is seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional
team on a full-time basis (minimum 38 hours per week).
Position: Hairdresser – Full Time

Salary: $72,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation
About the Role
The successful applicant will provide a wide range of hairdressing services while delivering
excellent customer service in a busy and professional barbershop environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Consulting with clients to determine hairstyle, colouring and treatment
requirements
Cutting, trimming, tapering, styling and shaping hair using scissors, clippers and
razors
Shampooing, conditioning and treating hair and scalp
Performing hair colouring, bleaching, tinting and highlighting services
Styling hair for different looks and occasions
Recommending hair care products and treatments to clients
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon
Managing appointments and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Skills and Experience Required
Relevant qualification in Hairdressing
At least 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques, trends and grooming
styles
Experience in cutting and styling men’s and women’s hair
Ability to perform colouring and chemical treatment services
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Reliable, professional and well-presented
