Deliver clinical training across all Centrecare WA locations
Join a multidisciplinary NFP making a meaningful community impact
Part-time role (3 days/week) based in Perth CBD

About Centrecare

Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services in over 11 locations across the Perth metropolitan, Goldfields and South West regions.

Role Overview

This three day per week opportunity plays a key role in shaping and delivering the clinical learning experience for staff of Centrecare. Reporting to the Centrecare Clinical Manager, you will lead the scheduling, facilitation, and ongoing development of engaging, evidence-based training programs aligned to Centrecare’s practice frameworks and core competencies. Using your own experience and clinical background, you will provide context to Centrecare staff on best practices in clinical practices contributing to maintaining Centrecare's high quality standards of care.

You will take ownership of Centrecare’s internal clinical training calendar, delivering a wide range of modules including trauma-informed practice, suicide risk assessment, cognitive behavioural therapy, documentation skills, and more. The role will involve collaboration with subject matter experts, HR, and marketing to ensure the smooth coordination, promotion, and delivery of sessions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, evidence-based clinical training modules to staff and partner agencies, both in-person and online.
Design, develop, and maintain innovative training materials and digital learning solutions.
Facilitate Clinical Induction Day for new staff.
Take ownership of the internal clinical training calendar and coordinate logistics with relevant teams.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, HR, and marketing to promote and deliver training.
Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices and adult learning principles.
Provide clinical training to external agencies if required.

Selection Criteria

Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Training, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering clinical services (e.g., case work, counselling).
Professional accreditation with a recognised body such as ACA, PACFA, AASW, or AHPRA.
Proven experience designing, developing, and facilitating clinical training programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
Proficiency with digital platforms and tools for training delivery.
Valid Western Australia Working with Children Check.
Valid Western Australia driver’s licence.
Valid National Police Clearance
