As the QA/QC Lead, you will oversee and coordinate all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across project lifecycles from procurement and fabrication through to inspection, compliance, and final handover. You will act as the central quality authority, working closely with clients, third-party inspectors, engineering teams, and suppliers to maintain the highest standards of quality performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Project Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and organisational requirements.
· Ensure quality systems, procedures, and project deliverables remain compliant with client specifications, statutory obligations, and applicable industry standards.
· Promote and drive a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and best practice across all project activities.
· Review, verify, and approve key project quality documentation including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Procedures, Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), and final project data dossiers.
· Manage and supervise multi-stage inspection activities including material receiving inspections, in-process fabrication inspections, welding inspections, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, and final release inspections.
· Ensure inspection and quality activities comply with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), client requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
· Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits, supplier assessments, and vendor inspections to ensure compliance and performance expectations are achieved.
· Oversee calibration and control programs for testing, measuring, and site inspection equipment.
· Monitor and ensure compliance with all project quality requirements, regulatory obligations, and relevant statutory standards.
· Issue, manage, and investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality-related incidents.
· Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimise recurring quality issues and improve project outcomes.
· Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC personnel while effectively allocating resources across multiple projects and inspection activities.
· Act as the primary technical quality point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party inspection authorities.
· Prepare, review, and present quality reports, project updates, and technical documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
Pay: $115,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
