The Role
We are seeking a commercially minded Business Improvement Analyst to join our Strategic Projects Office in Leederville.
In this role, you will help our Construction business better understand performance, identify opportunities and implement meaningful improvements. You'll work closely with operational leaders and stakeholders to uncover insights, translate complex information into clear recommendations and drive initiatives that improve outcomes for our customers, trades, employees and business.
This is a highly collaborative role that combines business insight, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. Success will come from your ability to connect the dots between performance data, operational challenges and practical solutions, then communicate those findings in a way that inspires action.
Reporting to the Process Excellence Manager, you'll play a key role in helping Construction leaders make informed decisions and deliver ongoing business improvements.
Please note this role is Based in Perth, WA and will require relocation if you're from another state.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse operational, customer and business performance information to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Translate data and business findings into meaningful insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Partner with leaders and frontline teams to understand challenges, priorities and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions and problem-solving sessions to support decision-making and drive outcomes.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, engaging and practical way for a range of audiences.
- Support business improvement and change initiatives from discovery through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and help track business outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across Construction and support teams to influence and support positive change.
About You
You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how businesses operate. You combine strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and are passionate about using data and process improvement to solve business problems and drive better outcomes.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, operational analysis, process improvement or project support
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical business recommendations
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, processes and improvement opportunities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to facilitate discussions, workshops and requirements-gathering activities
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercial acumen and a customer-focused mindset
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management or a related discipline
- Experience within residential construction, construction operations or a similar operational environment
- Experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence or business transformation initiatives
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, process mapping software or construction management systems
- Knowledge of project delivery, change management or benefits realisation practices
