PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Installer is responsible for delivering and installing cabinets, benchtops and related furniture at client locations according to design plans and specifications. This role focuses on ensuring installations are completed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Install cabinets, benchtops and furniture at client locations according to design plans and specifications.
Prepare the installation site by ensuring it is clean and ready for work, including any necessary protective measures.
Perform installations with precision and care, ensuring cabinets, benchtops and furniture are level, secure, and aligned properly.
Conduct thorough quality checks during and after installation to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns about the installation process.
Resolve installation challenges on-site, working with management to find solutions when necessary.
Maintain and operate installation tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Keep accurate records of installation work, including site measurements and installation details.
Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management to support the smooth completion of installations.
Work in the factory as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in cabinet or furniture installation, or a related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of installation techniques and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Dedication to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Complete installations accurately and efficiently within the timeframes provided.
Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality installations and professional interactions.
Maintain and operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
