Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.

The position available offers a mix of FIFO and Perth based work; FIFO will take you up to the Pilbara on either a 2/2 or 8/6 roster.
Excellent base rates with generous site allowances payable - weekly pay.
12m max term contract with options.
Immediate start.

Key responsibilities:

As an electrician you will be working to execute wayside and onboard electrical installations. You will work closely with the Signalling Electrical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work is undertaken to a high standard.

Responsible for undertaking the physical construction activities.
Responsible for executing construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and drawings and functional construction documentation.
Support the Electrical, Mechanical team and subcontractors to deliver to the project plan.
Undertake all Electrical works, in accordance with the project delivery plan.
Comply with all Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives.

Key attributes:

Relevant Trade qualification.
Minimum 2 years in an electrical trades environment.
Commitment to implementing and maintaining Health & Safety initiatives.
Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
Must be reliable, flexible, and a great team player.
