Full Job Description

Location: Perth, Australia

Report to: direct reporting line to the Senior People Business Partner, ANZ, and a functional reporting line to the Senior Manager, Rewards, APAC.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide support across two key areas:

1. HR Generalist Support

Act as the key HR contact for the businesses in Perth.
Support the Senior People Business Partner (Snr PBP), ANZ in delivering day-to-day HR support to managers and employees within WA.
Assist Senior PBP in day-to-day support to managers and employees within the ANZ region.

2. HR Operations Support

Support HR Operations activities including employee lifecycle administration, HRIS, payroll coordination, HR reporting and process improvement initiatives.

What you will be doing in this role

HR Generalist Support

Be accountable for partnership and collaboration with assigned businesses, commit to business success in Perth, WA. Be the first go-to and window person for WA businesses. Assist Senior PBP to Influence and facilitate the changes in terms of organizational change, or cultural change.
Collaborate with TA team and Snr PBP for high quality hiring, ensure we bring in the good candidate with right competencies and growth potential. Assist Snr PBP to ensure recruitment process are followed closely both online and offline, such as REQ approval, salary proposal, etc.
Assist Snr PBP to ensure performance management is aligned with Group’s guidelines and contribute to building a high-performance culture for the responsible region. Provide assistance to Snr PBP to manage performance coaching, 1st-line Management Skill coaching, PIP, Disciplinary actions, etc.
Support Business Head on talent management for respective organization, in terms of talent identification, development acceleration, succession pipeline management, retention.
Play an active role as the subject matter expert of organization development among the team. Lead local projects / initiatives in the area.

HR Operations Support:

Provide day-to-day HR operational support to ensure an efficient and compliant employee lifecycle.
Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (MySpace, ADP) and ensure timely processing of employee lifecycle transactions.
Prepare HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters and employee communications.
Coordinate payroll activities with external payroll vendors, ensuring accurate and timely payroll inputs.
Produce HR reports and support data collection, template updates and compliance reporting.
Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Sr. PBPs, Payroll vendor, People Technology and other stakeholders to deliver effective HR operations.
Identify opportunities to improve HR operational processes, documentation and employee experience.
Perform other duties as required.

How you make a difference in this role

You will support business success by delivering HR Generalist support for WA team and HR Operations, ensuring an excellent employee experience, operational efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement

What experience we expect from you

Essential Skills & Experience

Minium 4 years’ experience in HR generalist role (MNC preferred), sound knowledge of employment law and statutory requirements in the geography.
Experience in interpreting awards is essential.
Experience on HRIS, payroll administration or payroll vendor management (e.g. ADP) is preferred.
Be able to work independently. Strong problem-solving skill. Good track record in the previous working experience.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, detail-orientation, build credibility and deliver results with integrity.
Good communication skill to influence key stakeholders to reach out agreement.
Experience in Matrix reporting
Excellent knowledge of SAP (MySpace / SF).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI etc.
Good English communication (Written and spoken) ability and team spirit.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Additional HR project experience will be a plus.
