Wood is recruiting now for Pipefitters – Oil & Gas (Offshore) to join our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth, as we ramp up with mobilisation dates starting in June 2026 (for 1 swing), supporting one of our key clients in Oil & Gas.

With a proven track record in complex offshore environments, Wood is setting new standards in safety, efficiency, and sustainability. You will join a high-performing team delivering world-class maintenance, engineering, and operations expertise on one of the most innovative energy projects on the planet.

This is a casual contract on an even time roster 3:3 FIFO with 12-hour day or night shifts.

Wood’s “Operations” APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.

You will have:

A strong commitment to safety
Ability to pass an offshore pre-employment medical (Safer Together Medical), including drug and alcohol screen
Proven experience working in Oil & Gas offshore industry
An ability to communicate well at all levels

Expected:

You will be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights for this location.

BOSIET/T-BOSIET or FOET/T-FOET + CA-EBS – 4-year validity
MSIC
Trade Qualification (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade)
Work Safely at Heights – 2-year validity

Desirable:

Escape Chute - 4-year validity
Flange Management Level 1-3 (through Cameron / Hydratight)
Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
Flange Facing (Basic) ticket
Confined Spaces ticket
First Aid with CPR
Operate Breathing Apparatus
Fire Watch Familiarisation
