THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.
The Operational Support directorate is responsible for the delivery of high-quality capabilities to the Commission's serious misconduct and unexplained wealth investigations. This includes the effective delivery of covert surveillance and electronic collection activities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Manager Systems is responsible for ensuring the Commission’s electronic interception capabilities and operational network remain contemporary, secure, reliable and fit for purpose. This work involves managing all aspects of the Electronic Collection Unit's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, networks and telecommunication systems, provision of technical documentation, information and policies, and managing projects to develop new capabilities to support business requirements. This includes managing technical improvements, installing new systems and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system documentation, policies and procedures.
The position is responsible for implementing and managing industry-standard configuration, change management and issue resolution systems. It involves maintaining network & system design documentation, monitoring performance against standards and delivering training to enhance technical skills within the unit. Staying current with emerging technologies, IT communication standards and legislation is essential.
