The Executive leads ChemCentre in the ways it does its business. The Executive liaises with the Minister on government policies and ensures compliance with government requirements. About the role
As Media and Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering communication and marketing strategies that build stakeholder engagement, strengthen organisational reputation, and support strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will lead the development and execution of high-quality corporate communications, education and outreach events. You will manage the quality assurance of complex media and materials.
Working closely with the CEO and senior management, you will coordinate communication activities with the Minister’s Office, including Government briefings and responses to Parliamentary Questions.
To be successful in this role, you will have highly developed verbal and written skills with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and engaging content for diverse audiences and communication channels. You bring strong organisational skills to manage competing deadlines while maintaining high quality and professionalism.

This position is a Full-time position offered on a Fixed Term Contract for twelve (12) months, with the possibility for extension or permanency.
Suitable applicants may be considered for like positions within 12 months from the date of finalisation of the selection process.
The position is located in Building 500, Resources and Chemistry Precinct, Manning Road, Bentley.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a fixed-term appointment, it is essential to have documentary evidence of your entitlements to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
ChemCentre does not currently participate in employer visa sponsorship arrangements.
Prior to commencing employment, a National Police Clearance and Fitness for Work (alcohol and drug testing) will be required for a successful applicant.
