The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager (KAM) – WA/SA/NT to join the passionate SPC team. The role of the Key Account Manager – WA/SA/NT is to drive new end user business, manage & develop a portfolio of accounts within the FOODSERVICE & HEALTHCARE channels. The objective of the role is to achieve the national & state sales budgets by delivering on new business wins, improving sales volumes with existing customers, and maximizing contribution margin for our portfolio of products. Speed to market and distribution targets for all new products launches is also a key component of the role.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing objectives across Distributor, Key Accounts, & End Users. A key competency of the role is to position SPC as a preferred partner, understand our customers challenges and recommend solutions. The position involves meeting with new & existing customers.
This position can be based in either South Australia or Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
The priority will be to manage our current portfolio of Foodservice customers across Distributors & Key Accounts. You will be the first point of contact with our customers and be responsible for:

Growing volume, net sales revenue & sales contribution in the Foodservice & Health sector.

Activation of the sales & marketing plan initiatives in a timely & effective manner.

Building & developing relationships with foodservice distributors, key accounts, & end users.

Build rapport with all key stakeholders – internal & external.

Reporting on state performance, conducting customer business reviews, and analysing agreements to ensure business objectives are being met.

Plan, execute and participate in running trade shows, scheduled expos, networking events, etc.

Providing the company with relevant customer/market intelligence and insights leveraging the HubSpot CRM system.

Negotiation of trading terms (in collaboration with National Business Managers).

The timely administration of all customer claims, rebates, debtor control & any other specific task.

Ensuring all customer needs are met in a timely and customer orientated manner.
