About the Role:

Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for our children, following our set menu and catering to dietary requirements.
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
Cater to a variety of dietary, allergy, and cultural food needs with care and creativity.
Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and storage to minimise waste and maximise freshness.

About You:

You take pride in preparing fresh, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
You enjoy being pat of a team, sharing a laugh, and holding great conversations with your colleagues.
You bring a positive attitude every day – showing up with a smile and seeing the glass half full.
You thrive in a lively environment and don’t mind the sound of little voices and laughter from the playground.

Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Cookery/Hospitality/Chef highly regarded
Current Food Handling Certificate
Current food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Current Working With Children Check
Knowledge of safe hygiene practices
Experience working as a cook in a childcare centre will be highly regarded
