Join Nepean Hospital as an afternoon Ward Clerk and be a key player in supporting the Oncology Ward A7D! This role works Monday to Friday, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

We are seeking a motivated, customer service driven Ward Clerk who is passionate about improving the patient experience while also providing high quality support to our frontline healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and perform their duties accurately as a first point of contact, including telephone and email enquiries, as well as in-person contact with clients.

What you will bring to the role

Demonstrated clerical experience and knowledge, including reception experience, written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrated effective customer service skills

Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills

Demonstrated experience using Windows based software including databases and experience in using MS Word and Excel

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be flexible and adaptable

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and privacy including ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
