Penrith CBD Corporation is a not for profit organisation seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead the strategic direction, operations, and growth of our organisation.
Reporting directly to the Chairman and Board of Directors, the CEO will drive initiatives that enhance the economic prosperity, vibrancy, safety, and attractiveness of the Penrith CBD. This senior leadership role encompasses governance, stakeholder engagement, economic development, marketing, events, financial management, advocacy, and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the organisation's strategic and operational plans.
- Provide high-level advice and reporting to the Board.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, property owners, government and community stakeholders.
- Drive economic development, business support and investment attraction initiatives.
- Oversee marketing campaigns, branding, communications and promotional activities.
- Lead major events, activations and city beautification projects.
- Manage organisational budgets, financial reporting, contracts and funding agreements.
- Working with local government funds in partnership.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing organisational culture.
- Leading and managing a small team of passionate and motivate people.
About You
You are an accomplished executive leader with demonstrated experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, financial management, governance, and economic development. You possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills and have a proven ability to deliver outcomes across business, government, and community sectors.
