Full Job Description

Permanent part time role - 25 hours per fortnight
Salary packaging options to increase take home pay
Position available at our service in Paynesville

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator at our service in Paynesville. The Educator will work two days per week and 25 hours per fortnight.

Uniting Early Learning offers a positive and supportive culture, training opportunities and rewarding work.

We are also considering applicants that are working towards an ACECQA recognised Diploma Early Education and Care qualification.

What’s on offer

In addition to receiving a salary and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

There is also the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchase leave program.

About you

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a Diploma in Children’s Services or Certificate III (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority) or having completed at least 50% of an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.

You will also have:

An understanding and knowledge of early childhood development
Ability to assist in the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children
An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
Reasonable knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations
