Full Job Description

We are a growing commercial shopfitting company delivering high-quality fit-outs across retail, hospitality, and commercial projects throughout Sydney. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Shopfitting Foreman to join our team.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering projects on time, maintaining high workmanship standards, and leading site teams effectively.

About the Role

As a Shopfitting Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple projects, coordinating trades, managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate shopfitting projects on site
Lead trades, subcontractors, and installers
Read and interpret construction/shop drawings
Ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Maintain high-quality workmanship and site presentation
Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and contractors
Conduct site inspections and manage WHS compliance
Organise materials, deliveries, and site logistics
Troubleshoot site issues and provide practical solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience as a Shopfitting Foreman or Leading Hand
Strong background in food & beverage or retail fit-outs
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read plans and manage site workflows
Strong understanding of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
White Card (essential)
Driver’s licence (essential)
Trade qualification in carpentry/joinery/shopfitting (preferred)
