About the role
We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who live in and around the Doonside area to support a 53-year-old gentleman who suffers from spinal cord injury to live independently within his own home with his family.

Duties include but not limited too
- Personal care
- Assistance with managing finances
- Special Meal preparation
- Community participation
- Medication administration
- Assistance with allied health tasks
- Use of mobility
- Domestic assistance
- Catheter care
- Documentation and reporting
You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

What you need:
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)

Days/Hours
Monday, Tuesday and fortnightly Thursday 0700-1100.
(Flexibility to pick up any relief shifts.)
