About the role

In this unique 24-month opportunity, you’ll spearhead implementation of the NSW Health Research and Innovation Navigator, a vital program aimed at connecting researchers, industry and healthcare providers. Applying your deep ecosystem knowledge and stakeholder management skills, you’ll support efforts to strengthen national and international collaboration and partnerships, unlock new opportunities and accelerate research impact across the state.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $129,464- $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you will be doing
- Deliver and embed the NSW Health Research and Innovation Navigator, supporting stakeholders to effectively navigate NSW Health and the research ecosystem.
- Act as a primary point of contact for researchers, industry and partners seeking to engage with NSW Health.
- Manage and deliver strategic policy and project initiatives aligned with research and innovation priorities.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships and networks across NSW Health, research, industry and government.
Prepare high‑quality briefs and advice to support decision‑making and program delivery.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Demonstrated experience working in and understanding of the NSW Health system and the health and medical research sector
- Demonstrated skills and experience in stakeholder management in the public and private health sectors.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in record keeping, and understanding of the importance of maintaining corporate knowledge.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
- Desirable criteria: Experience in the effective use of Customer Relationship Management systems to support stakeholder engagement and program delivery.
