The Opportunity

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play an important part in enabling Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. You will become an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow into leadership positions. Kelly+Partners is committed to providing learning and development opportunities for all our team, ensuring that you would have the resources and training to support you on this journey.

Position Responsibilities

Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
Offer support and training to junior team members

About You

2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically; APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Customer-focused with a positive attitude
Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Passionate about continuous learning and professional development
