About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our unrestricted MR Driver or C Class Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted Rockhampton based StarTrack business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
This is a full time permanent opportunity paying $33.82/hr + 12% super. Overtime is offered paying overtime rates and leave loading is applied to annual leave. Please note rate and super increases due in September in line with EBA increases.

You’ll be
- Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility (lifting up to 30kg).
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
- Driving our modern trucks between our facility and our customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
- Providing an outstanding customer experience representing AusPost Group.
Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.

About you
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to
- Hold a relevant manual C Class licence or unrestricted MR vehicle license (preferred).
- Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
- Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
Be prepared to carry out a driving assessment, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and nationally coordinated criminal history checks.
