What’s the opportunity?
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Northparkes.
As our Continuous Improvement Superintendent, you'll lead site wide improvement initiatives that enhance performance, unlock value and influence how we operate into the future. This is more than a traditional improvement role. You'll have the opportunity to work across every department, partner directly with senior leaders and drive meaningful change that delivers lasting results.
Working a residential 5:2/4:3 roster at Northparkes, you'll enjoy the lifestyle benefits of regional NSW while playing a key role in a site experiencing significant growth, investment and transformation. This position offers exceptional exposure across the business and a genuine pathway into broader operational or commercial leadership opportunities.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable operational and business outcomes.
- Partner with leaders across all departments to identify opportunities, remove barriers and improve performance.
- Influence site-wide change through improvement projects that create long-term value.
- Help shape the future direction of Northparkes during a period of growth and transformation

- Previous experience leading continuous improvement, business improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across multiple departments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable performance improvements.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- A proactive, self driven approach with a high level of accountability.
- Experience within mining, resources, heavy industry or similarly complex operational environments.
Highly regarded
- Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise systems.
- Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
