About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory. You'll provide commercial leadership to project teams while ensuring contracts, costs and commercial outcomes are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll be responsible for
- Manage all commercial, cost and contractual matters across assigned projects.
- Administer project costs, revenues, claims, supplier agreements and subcontractor contracts.
- Initiate, review, negotiate, administer and close out contracts.
- Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Lead and mentor project commercial personnel to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure contractual compliance, manage non-conformances and provide accurate reporting.
- Promote compliance with Georgiou's HSEQ systems, policies and procedures.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of complex commercial contracts, ideally on projects exceeding $30 million.
- Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors is highly regarded.
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
