Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement indoor and outdoor learning programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Provide play-based learning activities to support children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
Promote children’s language and communication skills through storytelling, songs, rhymes, role play and group activities.
Observe, assess and document children’s progress and identify any developmental or wellbeing concerns.
Ensure children’s health, safety, nutrition and wellbeing are maintained in a safe and supportive environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding children’s learning and development.
Attend staff meetings, parent interviews and professional development sessions as required.
Support community and family engagement initiatives and maintain positive professional relationships.
Supervise and mentor student teachers and trainee educators during placements.
Use educational technology and digital learning tools to enhance learning experiences.

Skills and Experience Required:

Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education, Children’s Services or a related field.
Minimum one year of relevant work experience in Early Childhood Education or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and child development practices.
Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with children, families and educators in a professional environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
