The Educator Development Project Lead is a principal specialist and strategic project leadership role within the Professional Educator College, responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of major VET Workforce Project initiatives, educator capability frameworks and workforce development strategies.
As the Educator Development Project Lead, your key responsibilities include:

Lead the strategic design, implementation and review of VET workforce initiatives aligned to organisational, government and sector priorities.

Develop and implement major educator capability frameworks, workforce development strategies and delivery models with system-wide impact.

Provide authoritative specialist advice to senior leaders, governance groups and partners on educator capability, workforce development and project priorities.

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from mobilisation to transition to BAU.

Establish project structures, milestones, reporting, risk controls and decision-making processes.

Manage significant project resources, external partners and program portfolio resources.

Lead development of frameworks, capability models and workforce pathways.

Translate complex challenges into scalable, evidence-based solutions.

Lead research and evidence synthesis to inform strategy and program design.

Analyse complex data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

Accountable for the adoption, implementation and scaling of Chisholm’s organisational strategies across internal teams, partner organisations and the Victorian TAFE sector.

You are a highly motivated individual with proven leadership capability, including managing performance, developing staff and driving team outcomes.
Qualifications required for the role:

Relevant degree and postgraduate qualification, or equivalent combination of extensive management, leadership and specialist expertise in education, learning design, organisational development, workforce development or project/program management.
Skills and Experience (Essential)
- Extensive experience leading complex education, workforce development, organisational capability or reform initiatives.

Demonstrated specialist expertise in educator capability, VET workforce development, learning design or organisational development.
-
Proven ability to develop and implement major strategies, frameworks, policies, operating models or capability pathways.

Experience providing authoritative advice to senior leaders, governance groups and external stakeholders.
