Full Job Description

At Megadeck Staging Systems, we're not just Australia's leading staging specialists, we're the maestros behind the scenes, supporting unforgettable events with our high-quality portable staging and set construction. With our roots in the Gold Coast, and branches in Sydney and Melbourne, we’re growing fast and are looking for our next key talent.

The Role

Located just outside the Gold Coast, in Stapylton, QLD (4207)
Casual roles available, potentially moving to FT Permanent.
Full training provided

Key Duties

Assembling/dismantling of staging equipment and set builds for events (training provided)
Assisting teams on-site
Pick Packer/Process Work
Follow stock handling procedures as directed and assist with regular inventory picking and packing as required
Barcode Scanning
Forklift
Loading/unloading vehicles
Equipment maintenance
Maintaining all equipment to a high standard.
Liaising with internal departments and customers.
Operate to and within the companies WHS requirements
Undertake quality checks on stage equipment
Maintaining the warehouse

Key Skills

Customer service – Demonstrate a relaxed and calm attitude under pressure. And going that extra mile to ensure the customer is happy
Teamwork – Being a reliable, positive, and punctual team member.
Work autonomously – Be able to understand key objectives and tasks and execute them efficiently and with high attention to detail.
Communication skills – Strong communication skills as demonstrated in teams and with customers
Tools – Ideally, experience using an array of hand and power tools (training provided)
Computer skills – Basic knowledge of Barcode scanners, Email and MS Word (training provided)
Task management – Can coordinate tasks and perform jobs in an efficient manner
Current driver's license – Full drivers license, manual driving experience required.
