Clinical Quality Officer
Quality Clinical Safety and Nursing Directorate

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Western NSW Local Health District Quality Systems Team on a full-time basis. An exciting opportunity exists to lead and coordinate the development, delivery, and evaluation of high-impact safety and quality education programs across Western NSW Local Health District (WNSW LHD). This role is responsible for driving curriculum design and implementation within the Safety and Quality Education Portfolio (S&QEP), including the Clinical Excellence Commission’s Applied Safety and Quality Program (AS&QP), ensuring programs are aligned with workforce capability needs.

You will manage the promotion and annual selection process for the AS&QP across WNSW LHD, Far West LHD, and NSW Ambulance, fostering strong engagement and participation. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will support faculty development and deliver engaging learning experiences through a blend of face-to-face, virtual, and e-learning platforms.

This position plays a key role in building workforce capability in quality improvement and supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, value-based care in line with organisational priorities within the Quality, Clinical Safety and Nursing Directorate.
