Requirements

YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, this opportunity will see you identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work. You will provide strategies to address these factors in practise.

Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling.
Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN

AHPRA registration as a Provisional Psychologist (5+1 or 4+2 internship) supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or ASORC membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
Current drivers' licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
Full working rights in Australia
