Executive Support Officer

Location: Parramatta with access to hybrid working arrangement
Full time Temporary opportunity for up to 6 months (35 hours per week)
Salary from $99,938 to $110,271 pa. + super and annual leave loading

This is a targeted recruitment. Your role

The Executive Support Officer sits within the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) People, Systems and Governance Directorate directly reporting to the Director. In this role you will be responsible for providing a range of executive support and administrative services to Senior Executive leaders to support the effective delivery of business operations and organisational objectives.

What you’ll do

Assess and prioritise requests to support the effective use of Senior Executive time
Manage complex diaries, appointments, records, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting schedules
Coordinate and support meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, presentations, briefing materials, and monitoring actions and follow ups
Gather and collate background information to assist with planning, reporting, and informed decision making
Maintain and improve administrative systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide high quality support while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines

What we’re looking for

Experience providing executive or administrative support in a busy environment
Experience working with Aboriginal people and communities
Demonstrated experience preparing executive meeting minutes and coordinating actions and follow up items
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
Sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate systems
