About Goodstart Numurkah:
We’re currently seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Part-Time (12 hours a week) Administration Assistant to join our welcoming team at Goodstart Numurkah , a 60-place centre operating 6:30am – 6:30pm.
As an Administration Assistant, you will support the Centre Director to deliver key business outcomes and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre. You will be the first point of contact for families and visitors, delivering a warm, professional experience while managing key administrative processes.
This is a dynamic role where strong organisation, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a high standard of customer service, creating a welcoming environment for families and visitors.
Manage enrolment enquiries, maintain the waitlist, and support the centre’s attendance pipeline.
Coordinate centre tours and respond to general enquiries on behalf of the Centre Director.
Support the management of family accounts, bookings and debt reduction.
Perform key administrative tasks including e-purchasing, filing, record management and archiving.
Assist with calendar and meeting coordination for the Centre Director.
Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with families and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and centre performance.

You’ll need:
Current VIC with Children Check
Experience in administration and/or customer service (essential)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
A professional, friendly and approachable manner
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards
