Job Description:
BASE OOSH is an Outside School Hours Care provider providing before, after school care, and vacation care. BASE OOSH is a Child Safe Organisation. Programs being offered provide children with a safe, enjoyable, and supervised space for learning, playing, and more specifically, making friends while parents are away for work or other commitments.
BASE OOSH provides children with opportunities to grow and develop as confident individuals by exploring their world through stimulating and challenging play. This role will include being a 2IC and Educational Leader.
Essential:
- Paid Working with Children Check
- Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting and CPR (HLTAID012 / 009)
- Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT025)
- Experience in a similar role as a Responsible Person, Team Leader, Director and/or Senior Educator
- Food Handlers Basic
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time Our Place (MTOP)
- Diploma in Early Childhood or working towards
- National Child Safety Training
