About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our unrestricted Medium Rigid Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

Working Monday to Friday, enjoy weekly pay - $33.33/ph + 12% super + OT rates, on site parking, uniform provided, 10 RDO's per year, leave loading on annual leave accruals taken, fun, hardworking, safe working environment with plenty of events and rewards for staff such as employee of the month awards. These roles work around 10hrs a day - and the overtime penalties apply after 8hrs (time and a half between 8-10hrs, double time and a meal allowance after 10 hours in a day).

You’ll be

Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
Driving our trucks to our industrial, residential and commercial customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
Returning to the Wingfield facility to unload pick-ups.

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

Hold a relevant unrestricted Medium Rigid vehicle license.
Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck up to 30kg.
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and nationally coordinated criminal history checks.
