Full Job Description

GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our Oncology Centre in Frenchs Forest.

This is a 15-month contract offering full time hours across 4-days per week, within a Monday - Friday schedule. It is a great chance to enjoy more flexibility and a better work life balance, while still making a meaningful impact on patient care.

We offer a competitive salary of up to $113,382 per year + superannuation, depending on your experience, along with career progression in a supportive and patient focused environment.

More specifically, you will:

Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

We’re looking for someone who has:

Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy.
Current AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist.
Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state-specific requirements apply).
Demonstrated technical competence across all areas of radiotherapy, including treatment delivery and planning.
Strong knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy techniques and modalities.
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
A strong commitment to patient-centred, high-quality care.
A dedication to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
