Full Job Description

Sydney Life Church is looking for a reliable, practical, and tech-confident team member to help oversee the smooth running of our church services and facilities, to support our friendly and vibrant church community, in Neutral Bay. You'll play a key role in preparing our church environment each week and ensuring services run smoothly from setup through to pack down. If you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes initiative, and can confidently manage both building operations and service production, we’d love to hear from you. This is a part-time role, requiring availability on Sundays, within a supportive and friendly environment.

What you'll be doing:

Opening and securing the church before and after services
Operating the PA/audio system during services
Managing and monitoring the live stream
Setting out equipment and preparing spaces for services and events
Assisting with pack down when required after services
Coordinating with cleaners and helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment
Troubleshooting basic technical or operational issues as they arise

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual, proactive, and full of integrity
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
Technically confident and calm under pressure
Experienced with PA/audio systems and live streaming (essential)
Physically capable of light lifting and moving equipment
Friendly and able to work well with volunteers and staff
Passionate about supporting church community life

Experience with any of the following is helpful but not essential:

Church production environments
ProPresenter or similar presentation software
General building or facilities coordination
