The SAP Finance Lead Solution Architect is a senior, client-facing role responsible for defining, shaping, and leading SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions for Australian Federal Government clients. The role has a strong focus on presales leadership, S/4HANA Finance transformation strategy, and trusted advisory engagement with senior public sector stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead administration, optimization, and governance of enterprise-wide Elastic Cloud platform supporting log aggregation, infrastructure monitoring, and APM across On-premise and Cloud environments.
Design and develop advanced Kibana dashboards and visualizations, enabling actionable operational and business insights aligned with SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
Architect and optimize Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies, including rollover strategies, hot/warm/cold/frozen tier transitions, retention tuning, and cost-aligned data lifecycle governance.
Continuously review ingestion patterns, index growth, and storage utilization to ensure efficient data tiering, quota adherence, and overall cluster performance optimization.
Analyze trends in logs and metrics to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, recurring incidents, and automation opportunities, improving platform stability and reducing operational overhead.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to onboard workloads into Elastic using Filebeat, Elastic Agent (Fleet), APM, and ingest pipelines.
Lead troubleshooting of ingestion pipelines, connector integrations, and parsing configurations to ensure high data quality, visibility, and reporting accuracy.
Provide support and optimization for Dynatrace platform, ensuring application performance monitoring insights align with overall observability and SLA objectives.
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate monitoring and observability workflows with enterprise tooling (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins), enabling alert-driven ticketing, knowledge traceability, and automation alignment.
Support disaster recovery strategy including snapshot lifecycle management, restoration testing, and staged platform upgrades to ensure resilience and business continuity.
Contribute to access governance and security compliance through RBAC reviews, audit readiness support, and alignment with enterprise security standards.
Mentor junior analysts, drive documentation standards, and maintain comprehensive runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge repositories to improve operational maturity..
Technical Expertise & Federal SAP Requirements
Elastic Certified Engineer / Elastic or Dynatrace Observability certification (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Experience working in regulated or financial services environments.
Exposure to Cloud-native monitoring in AWS/Azure environments.
Experience with DevOps/SRE practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of monitoring consolidation and observability strategy implementation.
ITIL Foundation certification or strong understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, SLA governance).
Essential:-
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
