What you’ll do
- Payroll: process weekly/fortnightly payroll, timesheets, super, PAYG and leave accruals accurately and on time
- Accounts receivable: raise and send invoices, monitor outstanding accounts, follow up overdue payments, set up payment plans, and keep cash flow healthy
- Accounts payable: enter supplier bills, reconcile statements, schedule and process payments
- Bookkeeping: data entry, bank reconciliations, weekly/monthly reporting
- Invoicing & POs: create and send purchase orders and invoices, track approvals and receipts
- Cards & expenses: manage fuel/petrol cards, maintain logs, match receipts to statements
- General admin: document management, filing, inbox/calendar support, supplier onboarding
- Workflow support: liaise with field technicians and the office to keep jobs scheduled and completed
What you’ll bring
- Experience in an accounts/admin role (trade or construction industry a bonus)
- Confidence running end-to-end payroll
- Competence with accounting software (Xero/MYOB/QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidence chasing debts with tact and professionalism
- Excellent phone and email etiquette and a proactive mindset
- Ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
