About our Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities in the Hunter/ Newcastle region. In this position you will spend most of your time on the road, seeking new clients and servicing existing clients in the residential builder segment who are looking for windows and doors solutions for their new-build or renovation projects.
You will be at ease in your consultative selling approach to developing new customer relationships by offering hands-on support from point of contact, sales and right through to after sales support. With the role being primarily on the road you will have the autonomy to plan and manage your own day, with the option to work out of your home office or our Heatherbrae showroom. You will also be supported by our dedicated Sales Support team who will provide support with functions including order processing.
In addition, you’ll:

Actively source and develop new accounts

Interpret technical design plans, and assess construction projects

Provide clients with product details and recommendations

Manage contacts through the sales database

Build positive relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-ups.
About You
We’re looking for a team player who loves to partner and who has experience within the building and construction industry, along with the technical aptitude to understand the product. Your relationship-building and negotiation skills, combined with your ability to solve problems and provide outstanding customer service will be vital in ensuring your success in this role.
A self-motivated, results-focused sales professional with a strong service ethos, you will be able to diligently plan, organise and conduct selling activities which will enable you to exceed your sales targets.
