Carpenter / Experienced Labourer Wanted
HMJ Carpentry Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable, hands-on carpenter or experienced labourer to join our crew working across Goodstart Childcare Centres and residential projects throughout Newcastle, Central Coast & surrounding areas.
Work includes a mix of:
- Building maintenance
- Decks & fencing
- Doors & cabinetry
- Painting & repairs
- Sandpit fills & playground works
- Assisting with lawn & yard maintenance when required
- General carpentry and maintenance tasks
Tuesday to Saturday roster
Sunday & Monday off
Some away work required from time to time.
Applicants can either travel with our leading hand each day or, depending on the role and location, may be supplied with a fuel card to drive themselves directly to site.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience using tools and working on building sites
- Can work well within a team or independently
- Takes pride in their work and has a good attitude
- Is reliable, motivated and willing to help wherever needed
- Holds a valid WWCC (Working With Children Check)
Carpentry or maintenance experience preferred.
Competitive above-award pay based on experience.
Full-time position with consistent ongoing work.
Pay negotiable depending on skill level, experience and ability to work independently.
