· OSS Maritime Group is an Australia-based, multinational leading provider of logistics & marine services with an excellent global trading record of over 30 years.

· Due to our recent expansion, we are seeking an additional staff member to support our increased workload. We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced candidate to join our procurement team at our branch in Sandgate NSW. We value employee ideas, and we encourage creativity in getting things done.

Job Purpose

· Serve as an important member of the purchasing/management team

· Cut down costs from a procurement perspective

· Update pricing system/strategy on a national and Global scale

· Leading/managing warehouse logistics and stock

· Utilise and upgrade existing purchasing channels

· General admin duties

Job Responsibility
1) Costing/purchasing of ships’ parts, services and other needs;

2) Ensuring goods are delivered on time and within delivery schedules;

3) Liaison with customers and suppliers by email, face-to-face and over the phone;

4) Negotiation;

5) Identification of new suppliers and development of relationships with them;

6) Inventory control and stocktake;

7) Managing and processing claims to/from suppliers, including returning goods;

8) Authorising suppliers’ invoices after goods receipt and invoicing matching;

9) Monitoring and updating data in the company’s purchasing system;

10) Daily and weekly reporting & General administration support.

Job Requirements:
1) Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment;
2) Excellent written and spoken skills in English; &
3) Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel etc).
