About the Opportunity
Executive Inn Hotel is seeking a reliable and hands-on Part Time Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the hotel property is maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Working closely with hotel operations, the successful candidate will undertake a wide range of maintenance duties across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
Core Duties & Responsibilities

Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

Identify maintenance issues proactively and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Coordinate and liaise with external contractors and tradespeople as required.

Maintain hotel equipment and facilities including air conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures, exhaust systems, lighting, and room amenities.

Complete minor painting, patching, regrouting, silicone application, and general upkeep works to maintain presentation standards.

Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests, including wet carpet issues and room-related maintenance concerns.

Order, organise, and maintain maintenance stock and spare parts in accordance with hotel procedures.

Support operational departments, including Housekeeping and Guest Services, with deliveries, porterage, furniture movement, and heavy lifting when required.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with hotel policies and Workplace Health & Safety standards.

Assist management with any reasonable operational requests to support the smooth running of the hotel.

Carry out scheduled cleaning and maintenance of air conditioning vents throughout the property.

Perform additional duties including pressure cleaning, moving mattresses, painting, touch-up work, and other general property maintenance tasks as required.
About You
You are a proactive and dependable maintenance professional with a strong work ethic and a practical, hands-on approach. You take pride in maintaining high presentation standards and can work independently while supporting a team-focused environment.
Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience in hotel, building, or general maintenance.

Sound understanding of preventative maintenance practices.

Ability to troubleshoot and complete a broad range of repair tasks.

Knowledge of air conditioning systems, plumbing, and general property maintenance is highly desirable.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to prioritise tasks and respond effectively to maintenance requests.

Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, professional work environment.

Physically capable of performing manual handling and lifting tasks when required.
