As a Senior Associate in our Private Clients team, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality external audit services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing financial reporting across a wide spectrum of industries, from small, fast-growing companies to large entities.

What you’ll do:

Assist in planning and executing external audits of financial statements in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Conduct substantive testing and detailed audit procedures to identify risks and ensure accuracy.

Evaluate internal controls and financial processes to support audit objectives.

Prepare clear and concise audit documentation, reports, and findings for clients and senior team members.

Identify and communicate audit issues, collaborating with clients to resolve financial reporting challenges.

Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance audit efficiency and quality.

What we’re looking for:

Core skills:

Audit Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in external audit; ideally, one year as a Senior Auditor or equivalent with exposure to private clients, owner-managed businesses.

Bachelor's degree in commerce or finance, with progress toward or completion of a recognised CA qualification.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial information, identify risks, and apply professional judgement to audit processes

Teamwork and Development: Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to learn from and support senior colleagues

Communication Skills: Ability to prepare audit findings clearly and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

Industry Awareness and Regulatory Understanding: Foundational knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to ongoing learning
