As we look towards expanding our availability and offerings for our members, we are currently in need of a professional, personable and enthusiastic Qualified Optometrist to join our team here at the optical department of the Lake Macquarie/Boolaroo Costco Warehouse!

We have a broad range of frames, lenses and services on offer and cater these offerings to provide a refreshing and enjoyable experience for members and the team alike!

This would be a full time role but in saying this we are happy to discuss the option of part time opportunites aswell!

Position Description
Performs eye examinations and vision tests to determine the presence of visual, ocular and other abnormalities, and prescribes lenses, other optical aids or therapy.

Essential position requirements

Be able to demonstrate their ability in providing outstanding patient care;
Have successfully completed appropriate tertiary studies in Optometry;
Be registered and licenced with the Optometry Board of Australia;
Coach, train and mentor other Optical department employees;
Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all patient information.
