The role:

Helping elderly people stay independent in their own homes in this Part-time role in the Port Stephens area such as Nelson Bay, Lemon Tree Passage, Tea Gardens, Maitland and Newcastle by proving personal care services.

Duties include personal hygiene( including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting), helping the client move safely, following clients’ care plans, perform unescorted shopping as required, general home cleaning( including changing bed linen, washing clothes and dishes etc).

We're looking for people to join our team who:

Are passionate about helping the elderly maintain their dignity and independence.
Want to provide a great service for their clients.
Have a high level of reliability and dependability.
Have good people skills and can engage easily and tactfully with their clients.
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) including current first aid and conducting manual tasks safely certificates.
Have a current Australian Driver's License and their own vehicle.
Have a current police check.
Have a current NDIS check.
Have Covid 19 and Influenza vaccinations
