About the Team
Westlakes Community Health Centre is a busy and vibrant healthcare facility at the heart of our local community. With picturesque lake views in almost every direction, you'll enjoy a unique working environment while collaborating with a diverse range of healthcare professionals and support staff.
You'll become part of a small, friendly team that values teamwork, respect, and supporting one another to achieve the best outcomes for our patients and community.
About the Role
As a Driver / Storeperson / Handyperson, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community health facilities. No two days are the same, with responsibilities spanning transport services, maintenance, stores management, fleet coordination, and facility support.
Your duties will include:

Opening and securing the facility

Conducting duress alarm checks

Maintaining gardens and grounds
-
Managing fleet vehicles and vehicle maintenance activities

Coordinating stores and deliveries
-
Providing transport for rehabilitation clients
-
Performing general handyman and maintenance tasks

Supporting operations at Raymond Terrace Community Health Centre two days per week

Assisting with courier and transport services across Community and Allied Care Services sites
This position works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the facility remains safe, welcoming, and operational.
About You
We're looking for someone who:

Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates initiative and the ability to think outside the box

Is reliable, punctual, and organised

Understands and works within Workplace Health and Safety requirements

Has experience in handyman, maintenance, groundskeeping, stores, or similar roles (highly regarded)

Provide a variety of support services to teams based at Toronto Community Health Centre and other CACS – GNS / HNELHD sites as requested by Manager.
