No previous Radiation Oncology experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training, mentoring, and ongoing support to help you build your skills and confidence in this highly rewarding specialty.

Working Monday to Friday clinic hours only, you'll be part of a collaborative and patient focused team where your expertise, empathy, and contribution are genuinely valued.

More specifically, you will:

You will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while delivering safe, high-quality care every day.

Provide compassionate, patient centred nursing care within a Radiation Oncology setting
Deliver patient education and clinical care, including medication administration, symptom management, skin assessments, and wound care
Coordinate daily patient appointments and clinical workflows to ensure a smooth treatment experience
Work collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Allied Health professionals, and Patient Services teams
Build trusted relationships with patients and their families through effective communication and support
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care
Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control requirements, and evidence-based practice standards
Apply medication safety principles and participating in quality improvement initiatives
Use structured communication tools such as ISBAR to promote safe and effective teamwork

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
A minimum of two years' post graduate nursing experience preferred
Experience in oncology, haematology, or Radiation Oncology will be highly regarded, although not essential
Experience in wound care management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
A commitment to delivering best practice patient care and continuous improvement
An eagerness to learn and develop within a specialised clinical environment
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
