Job Title: NDIS Service Coordinator

Location: Townsville, QLD and surrounding areas

Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Part-Time (Flexible)

Salary: Based on SCHADS + 12% Superannuation

About OptimumChoice OptimumChoice is a growing and dedicated NDIS support provider committed to delivering exceptional, participant-centered care. We are currently expanding our premium support services into Queensland and are establishing a brand-new hub in Townsville!

We pride ourselves on creating a highly supportive environment for both our participants and our staff. Unlike many providers, we focus on offering secure permanent positions for our support teams because we know that secure workers deliver better care. We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Coordinator to help lead our Queensland expansion.

The Role As our Townsville NDIS Service Coordinator, you will be the operational backbone of our local team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of support services, expertly matching participants with the right support workers, and maintaining our high standards of care and NDIS compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee daily service delivery for NDIS participants, ensuring all supports align with their NDIS goals and funding.
Manage efficient rostering and scheduling for support workers (incorporating SCHADS Award requirements like fatigue management and travel times).
Assist with onboarding new participants, including developing and reviewing Service Agreements and support plans.
Act as the primary point of contact for participants, their families, Support Coordinators, and Plan Managers.
Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing support to a dedicated team of frontline Support Workers.
Utilize care management software (experience with platforms like ShiftCare, Astalty, or similar is highly regarded) to track timesheets, case notes, and billing.

About You:

Demonstrated experience in a Service Coordinator, Rostering, or similar administrative role within the NDIS or disability sector.
Strong understanding of NDIS Pricing Arrangements, compliance requirements, and the SCHADS Award.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for advocating for people with disabilities.
Highly organized, proactive, and capable of problem-solving last-minute rostering changes or participant needs.
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to all-in-one NDIS software systems.
