About the role

Join our team as an Underground Miner – Level 1 (Nipper). We’re looking for hands-on, safety-minded Underground Level 1 Miners who take pride in their work and care about their team. At Aurelia Metals, we listen and we’ve acted: we now offer fortnightly pay and a residential allowance to make life easier for our team.

You’ll join a supportive environment where development matters, with opportunities to refresh your skills and grow your career underground. Whether you’re driving trucks, supporting operators, or maintaining essential services, you’ll be part of a team that values safety, collaboration, and a positive attitude every day.

Roster: 7/7, 12-hour shifts (rotating days & nights)

Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW

Travel Options: Residential only

Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support and discounted company housing are available, along with a residential allowance and the option to boost your savings through salary sacrifice benefits

Key responsibilities

Ensure mining teams have the supplies and equipment needed for efficient workflow
Assist underground Operators and Service Crew as required

Qualifications and experience

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Previous underground experience highly regarded
