About the role
We are seeking exceptional educators to inspire and shape the next generation of Supply Chain and Logistics professionals. This is an opportunity to bring your industry expertise to life, guiding students as they build practical skills, achieve nationally recognised qualifications, and progress toward meaningful careers across the supply chain, warehousing, transport, procurement (both private and public sectors), and logistics sectors.
As a Teacher of Supply Chain and Logistics, you will apply current, industry-aligned knowledge to design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that reflect contemporary supply chain operations, logistics technologies, and industry best practice. You will deliver training across a range of environments, including face-to-face classroom settings, simulated and workplace-based contexts, and online, ensuring students develop the practical capabilities required to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
In this evolving field, you will play a critical role in developing operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in your learners while fostering a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes. We are looking for educators who combine extensive industry expertise with a passion for teaching excellence. Please note: that this role may require availability from Monday to Saturday, with most of our courses delivered on weekday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or another relevant qualification
- Hold a Diploma of Logistics or another relevant qualification
- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
