We are seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to join our GIS team, in supporting a diverse range of environmental projects. In this role, you will work across our approvals, contamination, remediation and ecology disciplines. Working from our growing Sydney office , you will liaise with our collaborative teams across Australia.

This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Preparing spatial analysis and mapping for environmental approvals and reporting

Managing and maintaining GIS project folders and datasets

Conducting spatial clipping, overlays and area calculations

Supporting field teams with data collection platforms

Assisting in automating GIS workflows where appropriate

Contributing to improving internal GIS systems and processess

Your Expertise and Skills

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

3+ years of relevant industry experience ; with experience in consulting highly regarded

Tertiary qualification in Spatial Science, GIS, Environmental Science or related disciplines

Proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS and ArcGIS Pro

Experience with Field Maps and Survey123

Exposure to environmental or ecological datasets, including remediation, environmental approvals or ecology projects

Introductory Python skills for scripting, automation or geoprocessing highly regarded

Basic SQL and database concepts advantageous for the successful applicant
